I work closely with individuals struggling with eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other disordered eating behaviors. These challenges often involve intense feelings of shame, perfectionism, control, and anxiety, which can deeply affect your relationship with food, body, and self-worth.
Eating disorders frequently co-occur with anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns, adding complexity to the recovery process. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally responsive, honoring the unique cultural, familial, and societal factors that influence your experience.
Together, we explore underlying causes—such as trauma, societal pressures, internalized beliefs, and family dynamics—and develop practical strategies to challenge unhelpful patterns, foster self-compassion, and restore balance. Therapy provides a safe, nonjudgmental space to process difficult emotions and build confidence in your ability to heal, nourish your body, and reconnect with your authentic self.
